My fiance and I stayed here earlier this year. Not going to lie we were nervous after seeing some of the reviews. We were wrong. Great hospitality, very helpful when we needed an accommodation. Rooms were clean, a little dated, but still clean and comfy. If your looking for somewhere cheap to enjoy the weekend in beautiful Lake Geneva, your best bet is right here.
This place is not only affordable, but the staff are amazing. They really helped me out on a bind. Location is walking distance to downtown Lake Geneva. Room was clean, and the heater warmed up the room very quickly. If you are looking for an affordable room on the fly, I would highly recommend the Chateau Royale!! best place in town in my opinion!!!!
Went in for a 1 night stay due to the affordable cost and was pleasantly surprised by this place. The attendant accommodated us with a room equipped with a balcony since I am a smoker and the location was quiet and comfortable. If in the area I would definitely consider staying here again.
I have a friend staying for a few weeks. The Chateau Royale turned out to be perfect for what was needed and my friend has been safe while there. It seems like the owner continues to work on renovations. It is definitely worth checking out.
Location, customer service, and price were all great! Didn’t plan on being in the room besides sleep so didn’t need any extras tha other places offer. I got a cozy bed at a safe, affordable place right by all my activities.
Stayed for my bday weekend! It was a great weekend. The room Nikki at the front desk explained to me to upgrade too was sool! She by the way was super friendly, helpful and down to earth..the room was clean, restocked the 2nd day and jet tub bathroom was really nice. The balcony view we had was beautiful. We will for sure be back to stay again! Thank you Nikki and all staff at Chateau Royale Inn for a great bday weekend stay!
This is one of the best, most reasonably priced hotels in the Lake Geneva area. I have stayed here many times over the years and have never had a bad experience. Rooms are very clean, staff is always accommodating and friendly. This the only hotel I’ll stay in when I visit Lake Geneva.
I found this place to be very pleasant and clean. I came to lake Geneva for a company outing and after looking at all the crazy high hotel prices in town I found this place. Great price, nice rooms, and very polite staff. The owner himself personally checked me in and recommended a great place to grab a bite to eat. The hotel is right in town and walking distance from most everything. This place has a real "comfortable" feel to it and my wallet wasn't drained. And if the wife was happy I'm happy. I will most certainly be coming back next year. Thank you John and all of your awesome Staff for meeting my needs .
